Evil loves to party rock? LMFAO homages 28 Days Later.

This was brought to my attention over the weekend.  The electro-pop duo LMFAO released a single back in 2009 called Party Rock.  What does Party Rock have to do with the world of horror?  Nothing.  However, when you make a music video for it and incorporate a homage to a certain horror movie, than suddenly it has everything to do with horror.  Go figure.

The Party Rock music video takes place in Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later world; streets laced with overturned cars and people act in strange ways.  Instead of chomping the pieces of flesh of uninfected bodies and spewing blood from ever orifice, these “infected” just like to shuffle every day to the Party Rock.  I know, I know I’m a bit late on seeing this music video, but in my defense, LMFAO wasn’t a top choice in music for me at the time.

Nazis and Allies vs evil! The Devil’s Rock news!

The Devil’s Rock is brand spanking new to this blogger, but my friends over at http://www.horroryearbook.com has posted a trailer and a synopsis of the upcoming World War 2 horror flick.  On the eve of the D-Day invasion upon the beaches of Normandy, France, two special op commandos are sent to scoop out and destroy German gun emplacements on the Channel Islands.  What they discover is more terrifying than they could have ever imaged when the Nazi force commanding the gun emplacement are knee deep in the occult.  Their high command has summoned a demon in hopes to use it for Nazi gain; the demon has other plans.

Evil 5 has a name? Resident Evil: Retribution news!

Milla Jovovich tweets.  She tweets a lot.  Jovovich tweets so much she drops some news about the fifth Resident Evil film that is suppose to head into theaters September 12, 2012.  Jovovich stars as Alice in the entire franchise and, apparently, being married to the series director, writer and producer, she doesn’t receive much information and just guesses on what is going on.

Jovovich says, “Alice” is back and Paul W.S. Anderson is involved. “I think its called, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure.”  We have a title, supposedly…

Think mosquitos aren’t evil? Sucker news!

Golly!  I haven’t seen a good mosquito horror movie since 1995 Mosquito starring Gunnar Hansen and TV’s 2005 Mosquito Man with Christa Campbell.  A mosquito horror film comes in about one and a blue moon.  A blue moon is on the horizon with the latest mosquito horror flick Sucker!
