Some exciting news coming out of the ever-glorious Scream Factory, aka Shout Factory, company and that is 1988’s “Destroyer” with Anthony Perkins from “Psycho.” The incredulous film will pari with another 1988 film – Scarecrows. The double feature will hit blu-ray in 2015!

Red Barrels has confirmed that they are working on a sequel to the 2013 first person survival horror game Outlast. Not much information has been given about the sequel, but what we’ve been told is that it will take place in a different location and feature new characters. Outlast has also been confirmed to be released on XBOX ONE, Playstation 4, and PC. Until that time comes, make sure you head over to Steam, PSN, or Xbox live and grab the first Outlast for $19.99.

You like jump scares? Do you find Chuck-E-Cheese characters creepy? well then this is for you! The sequel to the recently popular horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s is now on Steam Greenlight for everyone to cast their vote. I personally haven’t played the first game yet and not sure if I will, the game is mostly jump scares but the concept of the game is very interesting. Until this is greenlit and passed through which I’m sure will happen by tomorrow, then you can grab the first Five Nights at Freddy’s on Steam for $4.99

It’s Bloggin’ Evil is Seeking EVIL WRITERS!

Its Bloggin’ Evil needs a few good writers to keep website fresh and up to date with the latest and greatest of horror, thrillers, and exploitation. I’m looking for writers who are 18 or older with some writing experience in a blog atmosphere. I would run this blog all by myself if I could, but at the moment I can’t and need your help!

Please, send me a writing sample at TheEvilBlogger@gmx.com along with your name, age, and your favorite horror movie.

Also, I can’t pay you. I’m sorry. But think of this blog as a great entry level, internship, volunteer service to build up your resume and to fine tune your writing skills. Hell, if I can, I might hook you up with a screener or two. Maybe even an interview with an indie movie director and/or actor. Who knows. If you can currently provide your own material – whether new theatrical movies, retro movies, Op-eds, horror literature, horror gaming, etc – let me know in your submission e-mail as well.

Free your fears: F.E.A.R. online coming to Steam

FEAR-Online-650x450

Alma is back and it is time to fear her once again. Yes, F.E.A.R. online is finally coming to Steam after it’s long ass beta test on areia games. For people who don’t know what F.E.A.R. is, it is an extremely kick ass first person horror game with the first one being released back in 2005 on XBOX 360 and Playstation 3. The series has spawned two sequels and now a free to play spin off is on its way to Steam this fall. It will be free and will feature both a co-op campaign and competitive multiplayer. I know I will be playing it the day it comes out and give a review of the game since my happy ass loves the F.E.A.R. games to death. F.E.A.R. Online has a scheduled release date for October 17.
